in seton academy [the anime] they showed up
they appeared in the seton academy anime as the student president
So, because they CAN chew through concrete, does that mean they DO chew through concrete in their native land? Do their teeth never stop growing, like regular rodents? Can 1 be kept as a pet? (1 so it doesn't mate) Are they aggressive to outsiders? I have so many questions. I MUST LEARN MORE. 🤯
They can't be kept as just 1, they're highly social
CAN U STOP ACTING LIKE THIS IS A KIDS SHOW!!!!!

If these things became just a little bit bigger and developed cacine-intelligence they’d overrun the planet.

What do cats see
Anna, we watched this when it was published, and my 8yo *still* randomly says "Let them eat tubers" lololol This is such an amazing video.
Mole Rats are simps.
But so am I
What's the secret of their longevity?
It doesn't seem that inbreeding hurts the colony, I don't understand that. Inbreeding couldn't play a part in the reason they can't get cancer?! But more likely, the reason they can't get cancer, is the SAME reason inbreeding doesn't affect them negatively. Hmmm 🤔 is there something pure about their DNA? This REALLY is fascinating to me, I NOW want to know more. (But I don't want science to hurt them, finding out more)
fallout
Hi
Well, they didn't talk about the incest...
What do they eat for a living? I heard from my parent that they come into our ears and eat my brain. I know it sounds doesn't make sense, but in my condo have them. it maybe I grow some indoor plant. I am scared of them. Can you tell me sth about this case?

I suspect the guy being interviewed about the naked mole rats queens is a queen himself. Hey, and that's fine, just saying...
